BAR 2LDK

BAR 2LDK is a bar on the second floor of a building in Higashioi. Some first-time visitors may find it a little hard to enter, but opening the door is part of the experience. The compact space has a little over 10 seats, combining counter seating with simple stools. It brings people close enough to sit shoulder to shoulder, with conversation arising naturally.

Drinking here seems better suited to conversation than to a quiet drink alone: the bar’s mama and other people there are part of the exchange. The drinks selection includes cocktails, spirits, beer and wine, making BAR 2LDK an easy stop during an evening of bar-hopping. One visitor says they were offered rice crackers and snacks that someone had brought in.

Open from 7 pm to 5 am the following day, Thursday through Sunday, it can make a useful second or third stop late at night.
